Night of the Curious: Dressing the Mind: Kleding, Zelfexpressie en Transformatie
Ontdek de kracht van kleding tijdens Dressing the Mind, een avond vol zelfexpressie en transformatie. Curious Willemijn, Jerome, Viv, Helen, Nico en Myriam laten je ervaren hoe alles, van expressieve kostuums tot intieme lingerie en je dagelijkse outfit, je gevoel beïnvloedt en je ware zelf onthult. In deze driedelige serie onderzoeken we hoe kleding ons denken, voelen en emoties beïnvloedt.
Het eerste deel, “Dressing”, door Jerome en Nico richt zich op vragen als: “Waarom kleden veel mannen zich zo saai?”, “Wat drijft mensen om zich op een bepaalde manier te kleden?” en “Wat voelen we bij onze kleding?” Verwacht een avond vol inzichten en bevrijding, waar elke stijl welkom is.
De volgende avonden richten zich op “Dressing down” en “Dressing up”, waarbij we op verrassende manieren verkennen hoe de kracht van kleding transformatie kan ontketenen en vrijheid biedt door persoonlijke expressie.
Als onderdeel van de avond hebben we een vriendelijk verzoek: draag of neem een kledingstuk mee dat écht bij jou past (verkleden kan tijdens de pauze).
Tijdens deze avonden van zelfexpressie, retrospectie en confrontatie, onderzoeken leden bewust hun innerlijke wereld. Ze delen hun gevoelens, gedachten en verlangens met anderen in een sfeer van nieuwsgierigheid en kwetsbaarheid. Dit proces begint met zelfreflectie en leidt uiteindelijk tot de creatie van events die we de Nights of the Curious zijn gaan noemen, waarbij innerlijke ontdekkingen tot uiting komen en gezamenlijk verder worden onderzocht. Deze avonden zijn hoogtepunten binnen de TenClub programmering, want dit zijn de momenten waarop nieuwsgierigheid, kwetsbaarheid en onderzoeksresultaten met alle geïnteresseerden wordt gedeeld.

Discover the power of clothing during Dressing the Mind, an evening full of self-expression and transformation. Curious Willemijn, Jerome, Viv, Helen, Nico, and Myriam will guide you through an experience where everything—from expressive costumes to intimate lingerie and your everyday outfit—affects your emotions and reveals your true self. In this three-part series, we explore how clothing influences our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
The first part, “Dressing,” led by Jerome and Nico, focuses on questions like: “Why do so many men dress so plainly?”, “What motivates people to dress in a certain way?”, and “What emotions do we associate with our clothing?” Expect an evening full of insights and liberation, where every style is welcome.
The following evenings will explore “Dressing down” and “Dressing up,” as we delve into the ways in which the power of clothing can ignite transformation and provide freedom through personal expression.
As part of the evening, we kindly ask you to wear or bring an item of clothing that truly represents you (you can change during the break).
During these evenings of self-expression, retrospection and confrontation, members consciously explore their inner world. They share their feelings, thoughts and desires with others in an atmosphere of curiosity and vulnerability. This process starts with self-reflection and eventually leads to the creation of events centred around the presentation and investigation of inner discoveries: the Nights of the Curious. These nights are highlights within the TenClub programming, as these are the moments when curiosity, vulnerability and research findings are shared with everyone.
