Das Boot 2025: Royal Mischief
During King’s Day, we indulge in a touch of royal mischief. Royal, because, just like the royals, we rule Amsterdam’s canals for a day. But not through traditional suppression… no, we rule through musically driven crowd control.
We gently force our subjects (aka the spectators) to let loose: hypnotised by our beats and rhythms, blasted through a professional 10,000-watt hi-fi system. The royals on board Das Boot on the other hand are in control and feel what it is like to genuinely rule for a day.
Mischief equates playful misbehaviour: and that’s our motto.
Beyond the reach of everyday social norms, we inspire the masses to bend the rules towards playfulness and indulgence. Join our fascination for a dogma-free mindset and surrender to to allow a sense of ultimate in-the-moment-happiness! Let’s rule the rules like the royals used to.
Think: nonstop bangers at 10,000 watts, free drinks and tasty bites all included.
What madness have we seen on previous editions of Das Boot? Oh, just a few highlights…
Practical:
• We take care of an abundance of drinks (wine beer gin tonic cola and lots of water), some bites (nothing fancy), a boat and most important 10.000W of music.
• We gather at Nereus (Amsteldijk 130A) on Saturday 26 April at 12:00.
Be on time: we won’t wait, and due to canal chaos, we cannot pick you up later.
• Dress for the weather. You can hop off if you really must—but we’d love for you to ride with us until the end… whenever that may be 😉
• Yes, we’ll sail slowly. Yes, we’ll stop a few times so you can… relieve yourself of excessive joy.
• We only have 45 spots, and more people want in than we can fit, so don’t wait!
Bonus: Das Boot has been fully refurbished this year, so unlike last time, sinking is not on the program. We’re better than ever.
