Step into an evocative journey through the hidden and celebrated legacy of Italian queer culture. In this special performance, queer artist Stemin blends intimate storytelling with music to honor the voices that shaped generations, from the soulful melancholy of Luigi Tenco to the dazzling freedom and sensuality of queer icon Raffaella Carrà.
Born and raised in the south of Italy, where tradition, faith, and silence often intertwine, Stemin grew up in a world where queerness existed in the margins, unspoken but deeply felt. In that silence, music became both refuge and resistance. This emotional landscape shaped his sound: tender yet bold, rooted in heritage but reaching toward liberation.
Through reimagined Italian classics and original compositions, Stemin traces a vibrant musical timeline from the 1920s to today, revealing how queer expression has always found ways to survive.
