C.H.I.C.K.S is a four-piece band fusing the raw energy of Jimi Hendrix and the groove of D’Angelo with the jazz-driven depth of Herbie Hancock, Joe Henderson, and the fresh sound of SMANDEM. Built on hip-hop rhythms, painted with jazz chords, and charged with distorted guitars and heavy synth leads.
C.H.I.C.K.S feels like a journey through psychedelic guitar landscapes, funky grooves, and rich harmonies, music that is raw, groovy, and adventurous all at once. C.H.I.C.K.S craft a sound that is unmistakably their own with Kay Alvarado van der Linden (keys & guitar), Ramiro Olivares Fuchs (drums), Gio Bargowo (guitar), and Ravi Hoevenaars (bass).
After this performance there will be a jam. Musicians of all levels are welcome to join in and create magic together, while the audience is invited to move, dance, and and soak in the infectious rhythms. Of course, if you’d rather unwind with a cocktail in hand, the bar’s got you covered!
