The start of the summer comes with yet another edition of the Red Light Jazz festival and we are glad to be part of it. Let’s celebrate the happy and long lasting marriage between our beloved neighbourhood and jazz, our teacher in many ways.
Tonight’s line-up features acclaimed trumpeter and vocalist Michael Varekamp as well as double bass player Harry Emmery, known for his collaborations with Archie Shepp, Freddy Hubbard and Louis Hayes. With TenClub favourites Bas van Lier on piano and Erik Kooger on drums, this joyful ensemble will surely bring light to this late spring evening. Don’t miss out!
