TenClub’s Monster Room turns into Amsterdam’s one and only actual jazz club every Sunday afternoon. Our headquarters at Nes 116 bring the atmosphere Amsterdam’s jazz scene has been waiting for without knowing it. Small to medium in size, the room provides the intimate backdrop for the hot and steamy performances by your host and master pianist Bas van Lier, who invites national and international guest artists to perform alongside himself during these very special matinee sessions. With just one season behind us, we are grateful to see so many of Amsterdam’s jazz aficionados time and time again on Sunday afternoons.

House of Jazz goes avant garde this afternoon with a guest appearance by Rotterdam based saxophonist Jesse Schilderink. Jesse is the artistic leader of the Rotterdam/Trondheim collective and his mission is to build musical bridges between experimental music communities in Norway and the Netherlands. As a saxophonist, Jesse takes you on previously unimagined sonic journeys. Join us for this spectacular, one of a kind session.
