TenClub’s Monster Room turns into Amsterdam’s one and only actual jazz club every Sunday afternoon. Our headquarters at Nes 116 bring the atmosphere Amsterdam’s jazz scene has been waiting for without knowing it. Small to medium in size, the room provides the intimate backdrop for the hot and steamy performances by your host and master pianist Bas van Lier, who invites national and international guest artists to perform alongside himself during these very special matinee sessions. With just one season behind us, we are grateful to see so many of Amsterdam’s jazz aficionados time and time again on Sunday afternoons.
Today’s special guest: Ian Siegal
Jazz music as we know it today wouldn’t be the same without blues and we are very honoured and pleased to have blues gitarist and vocalist Ian Siegal play alongside Bas van Lier during this edition of House of Jazz. Ian has an endless amount of prizes and international tour gigs to his name and to have him play our intimate jazz stage is really something to look forward to.
Plentiful champagne and oysters will be available upon request during every single edition of House of Jazz.
