Expect anything from cabaret to stand up comedy and from jazz to vaudeville and more. Sip on the very best drinks and witness how our Theatre of Life comes to life!
Line-up:
Jacob Adriani
Acclaimed stand up comedian plans to discuss anything from modern art to the mating behaviour of octopuses before returning to a personal, human essence.
Sem Kramer
Sem Kramer, pianist and host of many jam sessions at TenClub, celebrates the release of his brand-new album Love Junkie today. Playing the album in full tonight, Sem will be joined by all the artists featured on the album: India Lyell (poetry), Charley El Ranzino (poetry), Martin Grozdanoski (clarinet), and Qusai Naim (cello). When Mark Brounen asked Sem: “Dude, why don’t you make an album about love?”, the idea never left him. Triggered by recent romantic experiences, Sem’s album is about love getting out of hand. Roxy Music’s Bryan Ferry knew it, and Sem Kramer knows it: Love is (or can be) a drug—one that may take its toll. For the album, Sem has invited India Lyell and Charley El Ranzino to also reflect on their experiences with love. Join us tonight for an evening where love is both celebrated and critically reflected upon, to a soundtrack that may best be described as the middle ground between the classical music of Frédéric Chopin and the atmospheric jazz of Keith Jarrett.
