Maurício Lobão is a musician with over 40 years of experience, a master of percussion and multi-instrumentalist with a career that spans many musical and cultural boundaries. Throughout his career, he has not only specialized in traditional Brazilian and Latin rhythms, but has also created innovative musical projects in different parts of the world, always exploring new forms of sonic expression.
As a percussionist, Maurício is versatile, playing a wide range of percussion instruments with mastery, which has led him to participate in numerous projects and collaborations around the globe. His unique ability to fuse ancestral rhythms with contemporary sounds has allowed him to expand his performance, bringing the energy of percussion to new formats.
Currently, Maurício Lobão stands out as a live DJ, presenting live sets that mix electronic beats with organic and tribal influences, from traditional rhythms to Organic House and Organic Psytrance. His music is deeply connected to the spiritual sounds of nature, especially the forest, something he explores through layers of sound that evoke the natural and spiritual world, creating an immersive experience for the audience.
