Curious Night
This Monday, Natalia Davidson will discuss Greek tragedy in which she sees striking similarities with modern day life: “We arrogantly believe we can shape our destiny and stand on par with the gods, only to fail and to be humiliated by our arrogance.”
Our creative team happily takes part in the Nights of the Curious upon request. On Monday, Morschi Franz will delight us with an aria from the tragic opera Orfeo ed Euridice, while Simon Mulder will be our guide to the ancient theatre. Finally, we all will come together on stage as a Greek choir.

Aanstaande maandag bespreekt Natalia Davidson de Griekse tragedie waarin ze opvallende overeenkomsten ziet met het hedendaagse leven: “We zijn arrogant en denken dat we ons lot kunnen bepalen en op gelijke voet met de goden kunnen staan, om vervolgens te falen en vernederd te worden door onze arrogantie.”
Ons creatieve team levert op verzoek graag een bijdrage aan de Nights of the Curious. Vandaag zal Morschi Franz acte de presence geven met een aria uit de tragische opera Orfeo ed Euridice, terwijl Simon Mulder onze gids zal zijn in het antieke theater. Aan het einde van de avond komen we allemaal samen op het podium als Grieks koor.
