Messy Bessy is an evening dedicated to showing up fully even when “fully” feels a little big, a little bold, or a little overdressed. In fact, overdressed is encouraged. Too feminine? Too dramatic? Too expressive? Perfect. Come exactly like that.
As women, we often find ourselves adjusting. Being polite. Being composed. Being “just right” for everyone else. But this night is a gentle rebellion against all of that. A chance to step into a space where you don’t have to tuck yourself in or tone yourself down.
Guided by DJ NiJi, the Messy Bessy stage becomes a live playground for improv music, spoken word, and performance. This is a night built to celebrate female artistic energy. Everyone is welcome to join: bring an instrument, a poem, a story, a prop, or just your fearless self. Men are welcome to perform too, but must come ready to tap into the wild and feminine atmosphere that Messy Bessy is all about.
