Night of the Curious: Resonanties van de Ziel: Een persoonlijke reis door muziek
Vanavond neemt Curious Jan van Grootheest, pianist en klavecinist, ons mee op een muzikale reis waarin hij de kracht van retorica in muziek en poëzie belicht. Aan de hand van muzikale voorbeelden op het klavecimbel nodigt hij ons uit om lastige passages, zowel in muziek als in het leven, te onderzoeken. Jan toont hoe muziek een leidraad kan zijn, een bron van inspiratie om onze eigen uitdagingen aan te pakken. Met de magie van harmonieën en akkoorden onthult hij hoe muziek in staat is de ziel te raken, te inspireren en te bewegen. Geniet van een avond waarin poëzie, persoonlijke verhalen en muziek op een unieke manier samenkomen.
Tijdens deze avonden van zelfexpressie, retrospectie en confrontatie, onderzoeken leden bewust hun innerlijke wereld. Ze delen hun gevoelens, gedachten en verlangens met anderen in een sfeer van nieuwsgierigheid en kwetsbaarheid. Dit proces begint met zelfreflectie en leidt uiteindelijk tot de creatie van events die we de Nights of the Curious zijn gaan noemen, waarbij innerlijke ontdekkingen tot uiting komen en gezamenlijk verder worden onderzocht. Deze avonden zijn hoogtepunten binnen de TenClub programmering, want dit zijn de momenten waarop nieuwsgierigheid, kwetsbaarheid en onderzoeksresultaten met alle geïnteresseerden wordt gedeeld.

This evening, Curious Jan van Grootheest, pianist and harpsichordist, will take us on a musical journey where he explores the power of rhetoric in music and poetry. Using musical examples on the harpsichord, he invites us to reflect on challenging passages, both in music and in life. Jan demonstrates how music can serve as a guide, a source of inspiration for tackling our own challenges. Through the magic of harmonies and chords, he reveals how music has the ability to touch the soul, inspire, and move us. Enjoy an evening where poetry, personal stories, and music come together in a unique way.
During these evenings of self-expression, retrospection and confrontation, members consciously explore their inner world. They share their feelings, thoughts and desires with others in an atmosphere of curiosity and vulnerability. This process starts with self-reflection and eventually leads to the creation of events centred around the presentation and investigation of inner discoveries: the Nights of the Curious. These nights are highlights within the TenClub programming, as these are the moments when curiosity, vulnerability and research findings are shared with everyone.
