These are just a few of the questions that have long fascinated Hidde. His journey brought him to the work of Dr. David Bohm, whose vision of Dialogue, rooted in quantum physics, reveals a field in which everything is connected. This field, Bohm believed, can be accessed not through discussion or debate, but through Dialogue.
Over years of practice, Susan has come to describe this not just as a method, but as a way of being, a lived experience of attention and presence that opens the door to new meaning.
For Hidde, Dialogue means much more than having a conversation. It is a way of participating in life, in connection, and in the unfolding of meaning between people. In this field, we “dance” together, with curiosity and childlike wonder, toward shared meaning. It is a dance of unfolding and enfolding, where deep listening and honest sharing give rise to a new reality, one we could not see before. Pure magic.
Hidde believes in the healing and creative power of Dialogue. His lifelong dream is to spread this practice across the world, helping people dissolve polarities and dualistic thinking, and replacing it with the capacity to think together.
Susan brings more than 30 years of deep inquiry into the nature of Dialogue. Her decades-long engagement with Bohm’s work has shaped her unique ability to open space in which new realities can emerge. She and Hidde, collaborators for over a decade, have cultivated Dialogue as a pathway toward greater coherence, connection, and creative possibility.
This afternoon will not follow a fixed format. It is an invitation into the unknown, a shared inquiry where listening becomes generative, and the space between us becomes alive with meaning.
This is not a lecture. It is an experience.
