The Grand Piano Series: Svetozar Ivanov

Event details

Curated by pianist, composer, conductor, improviser, chamber musician, répétiteur and professor of piano Henry Kelder, TenClub’s Grand Piano Series reintroduces piano music by the world’s most inspiring classical composers as well as by those who deserve more attention. These intimate concerts take place in our majestic Monster Room, which is reminiscent of the salons of 17th, 18th and 19th Europe. Very much in the historical tradition of the salon, the audience will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the music they have just listened to.

Svetozar Ivanov presents Berceuse
Twelve audio vignettes inspired by poetry
The arts of classical piano music and poetry come together as one during this edition of the Grand Piano Series, when Svetozar Ivanov – Professor of Piano at the Music Faculty at University of South Florida – will perform his work Berceuse.
